Share "Think Spring & Plant Your Bulbs "
Spring bulbs need the cold of winter to activate their growing so put them in the ground now. Once they are planted they don’t have to be dug up again, unless you are dividing them.
If you can’t figure out which way to place a bulb, plant it on its side. The roots will grow down and the plant will grow up.
If you live in a climate that's warm all winter, you need to dig up your already planted bulbs and store them in the refrigerator for a few months in peat moss. This simulates winter.
